Trail stewards elsewhere

Trail stewards can be found in various parts of the U.S., mostly in the Pacific Northwest and New England areas. Many of these programs deal with unpaved, mountain bike trails that be subject to ever-changing trail conditions influenced by the weather. Not only unpaved trails are affected; paved trails have been plagued with conditions such as floods, mud, and trees.
