Heavy rainfall floods Salado Creek

09 Sep 2018

SAN ANTONIO—After more than 4 inches (10cm) of rain fell in some places, creeks swollen to flood stages in the San Antonio area. This included Salado Creek. Between 11 a.m. and 12 noon on 9 Sept 2018, these pictures were taken of the Salado Creek Greenway.

Sections of the trail are expected to remain closed after the water subsides. There will be a lot of dirt, branches, and other debris left behind for crews from the Parks and Recreation Department to clear.
